The Green Bar

Hello.

I have just published The Green Bar, a small exploration about the psychological toll of mere existence under capitalism. While I am incredibly fortunate to no longer be living paycheck-to-paycheck, the hopeless and toxic mindset it instilled in me still persists to this day. I think writing this was a way for me to find closure with that period of my life and, hopefully, let myself move on.

This is my first time creating a project in Bitsy, and it is also my first time writing poetry. I hope you find my efforts satisfyingly unnerving.
